Wonderfully mild and moisturizing, African Black Soap is still handcrafted in Ghana using time-honored methods, often created and perfected by women. Leaves, bark, and other plant material are collected locally, then slowly roasted to make an ash. This natural catalyst is mixed with shea butter and other oils in a large kettle that is heated and stirred. The resulting black soap has incredible properties to deeply cleanse and protect the skin without stripping its natural oils. Uncle Harry’s Silky Shea Black Soap is enriched with organic shea butter and pure, clarifying essential oils for a soothing and complete addition to your personal hygiene routine.
Minimally processed ingredients: Purified water, African black soap (shea butter, coconut oil, palm kernel oil, plantain leaves, agow bark), coconut oil castile soap (potassium cocoate), organic unrefined raw shea butter, essential oils of cedarwood (Juniperus virginiana) and vetiver (Vetiveria zizanoides).
Gluten free and vegan. Non-GMO.
Free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances.
Use as a gentle daily cleanser for face, hands, body, or hair. Suitable for all hair and skin types. Avoid eyes.
